Homework Assignment #1

For the first homework assignment, I used the textbook “Getting to Know ArcGIS Desktop, Fifth Edition” and completed Exercises 3a through 3b. These exercises were an introduction to using ArcGIS and covered the basic such as display of map data, navigation in a map, use of basic tools such as “pan”, “zoom”, “identify”, “select elements”, and so forth. The images below are screenshots taken during each exercise.
