Mary and David stretched out their 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration with a trip to Carlsbad, California to visit with Judy, Brum, Emily and Milo. Charlie's and Simin's son, David F., (for this page we are going to call him David F. so he doesn't get confused with David Darling) has a home in San Diego. One of the great events of this trip was a trip to San Diego to visit David F.'s wife, Tammy, and children Clara and Chaz. David F., is a Petty Officer Second Class in the US Navy who is currently on sea duty on the U. S. S. Abraham Lincoln Air Craft Carrier in the war zone in the Persian Gulf.
How about this artwork that Tammy did on the fence in their back yard! Aren't they great?! Yes, Tammy (shown in the top photo) painted these four billboard signs! And guess what? She has more room on the fences for more billboards! Now is that talent or is it talent! We assume you know that is Honey in the second picture.
In case you are not familiar with the products being advertised, Tammy and David are into retro stuff. And these signs were on billboards in the '20s or '40s. Watch out! She has more room on the fence for more artwork!
Clara will celebrate her third birthday in February, 2003. The
Albuquerque Darlings had a great time visiting with Clara - she is so
sweet - alive - and responsive. She and Milo had a great time together.
Actually they really look like brother and sister.
You might wonder what Emily and Milo were doing
all this time? They played a lot but also took out some time to refresh
themselves. So here are a couple of pictures of them: We think these pictures say it all.
What was Chaz doing when Clara was posing for her photo ops? He was using
his charm to conserve his energy for the upcoming Halloween celebration.
Tammy had her house already fully decorated for the upcoming holiday - and
when you viewed the pictures of the fence you can imagine how well she has
prepared for Halloween! David D. didn't get any pictures of that to
share with you. But we do have a few shots of Chaz for
you.
What did Tammy think of all this?
