Here are assorted camping and hiking pictures. More recent should be at the top.

This is a picture of dinosaur tracks at Clayton Lake State Park, Clayton, NM. We went there in Oct '99. In the center of this photo is a curvy groove. That is from the dino dragging his tail. The depressions on each side are from his/her foot prints. There are around 500 footprints in a pretty small area.

Holding up rocks in Colorado in summer '99.

Resting while hiking summer '99.

Rock climbing on the way to Emerald Lake, summer '99.

This was taken on Antelope Island (in the Great Salt Lake) in August 98.

This was taken on a hike summer 98 near Tent rocks (Cocheti Lake, NM).

This was taken in a campground near Cloudroft, NM. in August of 1996. Cloudcroft is at 9000 ft. Even in August, it is very cold in the morning. It rained both afternoons while we were there, and cleared up later so it could get cold. A solar observatory is about 16 miles away, on the other side of the ridge. Alamogordo is 16 miles and ~4000 ft below Cloudcroft.

Yes, the tandem is leaning against the tree. We tried to do a ride to the solar observatory, but had to quit after 8 miles due to the altitude, and the very large hills. (We could have made it without the trailer!)

This picture of my sons Dylan and Ryan was taken on a hike in the Sandia mountains thanksgiving weekend '95.
