Introduction
to UNM ART/ARTH
101 Online
Paula King,
Adjunct Professor of ART
Art is
one of the many ways we express
ourselves. Art is a chronicle
of history and a means to understand
other cultures. This course offers a
broad introduction to the nature,
vocabulary, media and history of
art. Students explore a personal
appreciation of art; and the skill of
art criticism is developed. This course
fulfills the Visual and Performing Arts

outline.
Distance

time management, make use of
college resources and to
have regular access to a reliable
