Most questions in this area will be application questions that will allow you to not only show that you understand the theory, but you can apply it in a real-life situation. Often, there is not one correct answer. If you give your best answer and can justify it, it will probably be OK. An example:

You are the manager of the Stud Muffin Fitness Center, a large facility with several thousand members. 1) List the forms you would develop for the members to complete and have on file before they would be allowed to work out. 2) Select one of these forms and describe it and what should be included in it. 3) What other documentation would you create and retain in order to protect the organization in case of an injury and potential lawsuit?

Sport Administration: Sport Leadership Study Guide
To prepare for a comprehensive exam question in Sport Leadership you need to be thoroughly familiar with the following theories and models:

Covey (book used for class)
Transactional Leadership
Tansformational Leadership
Path-Goal Theory
Situational Leadership

You need to be able to apply all of the above theories to both micro and macro leadership problems in teams, sport organizations, and/or the sport industry in general.

Intermediate Exercise Physiology Study Guide
Explain how the energy systems (ATP-PC, glycolytic, mitochondrial respiration) work together to liberate energy

Discuss how the neuromuscular system produced force for movement (i.e., discuss in detail motor unit recruitment of the different fiber types).

Discuss and explain the cardiovascular adaptations to aerobic exercise.

Body Composition Study Guide
Be prepared to compare and contrast the “pros and cons” of the various body composition assessment techniques. Explain and discuss what technique(s) you would use for a healthy active population and WHY? Which would you use for an obese population and WHY?

Laboratory Procedures Study Guide
