Teaching:
Courses:
§ ME 419/519, NSMS 519- Introduction to MEMS
This course is a Senior
Undergraduate/Graduate level course that introduces the students to MEMS and
NEMS. The course is on the physical theory, design, analysis, fabrication, and
characterization of MEMS. The main objective of the course is to teach the
students both theory and hands on experience in microfabrication, through both
lectures and lab assignments.
§ ME 318- Experimental Measurements
The course is a Sophomore
level undergraduate course that focuses on experimental measurement techniques
utilized in mechanical engineering. The course includes both theory and hands
on practical lab experience. The course focuses on experimental design of
stress/strain, displacement, velocity, acceleration, force, thermophysical
properties of materials, and fluid mechanics. The course also introduces
students to statistical analysis and design of experiments, as well as report
writing and error analysis.
