Cultures on Walls is an intracultural project that is based on a set of four murals by Kenneth Adams (1943) titled "The Three Cultures of New Mexico" which are displayed in the Zimmerman Library at the University of New Mexico. In conjunction with a video of the same name, the Culture on Walls project is designed to raise students' awarness of racial issues in the wake of the events of September 11, 2001. Although the racial issues raised are specific to New Mexico, they are applicable to students everywhere. Cultures on Walls should be introduced to learners by a trained intracultural facilitator.
