1D 10.11 - Sand Catcher:

Demonstrates: Motion in two demensions.

Description: Hinged board with cup and bag of sand and stick prop.

1D 15.20 - Race Track (small):

Demonstrates: Kinetic and potential energy.

Description: Parallel wooden race tracks that have the same start and end points but differ in length.

1D 15.21 - Race Track (large):

Demonstrates: Kinetic and potential energy.

Description: Large rectangular peg board with plastic red tracks that can have high and low points adjusted.

1D 40.10 - Center of Mass Dumbells:

Demonstrates: Center of mass of a rotating body in trajectory.

Description: A dumbell of two nerf balls and hollow plastic arm with a light inside that is throw across the room.

1D 40.50 - Pendulum on Air Cart:

Demonstrates: Center of Mass of oscillating air car with double pendulum.

Description: Air car with single or double arm pendulum is caused to oscillate on air track.

1D 40.55 - Air Track Inch Worm:

Demonstrates: Center of Mass.

Description: Two air cars are tied together with a spring and oscillate about the combined center of mass.

1D 50.10 - Ball on a String:

Demonstrates: Rotational forces.

Description: A tennis ball attached to a string.

1D 50.20 - Centripetal Force Apparatus:

Demonstrates: Centripetal force.

Description: Brass rod with two spheres of differing size that will move out to the end as the entire structure is rotated about a vertical axis.

1D 50.40 - Pail of Water:

Demonstrates: Centripetal force.

Description: Bucket filled with water attached to a rope to be swung around about a vertical axis and/or horizontal axis.

1D 52.10 - Centrifugal Hoops:

Demonstrates: Rotational forces.

Description: Two brass rings that flatten out as they are rotated about a vertical axis.

1D 55.30 - Rotating Disc with Objects:

Demonstrates: Trajectory motion as a function of energy.

Description: A large square table that can be adjusted so the incline varies the trajectory of a released ball.

1D 60.20 - Simultaneous Ball Drop:

Demonstrates: Horizontal and vertical components of a trajectory are independ of eachother.

Description: An adjustable spring loaded gun that will simultaneously drop and kick out two equal masses (brass or aluminum).

1D 60.30 - Monkey Hunter:

Demonstrates: Trajectory motion.

Description: An electromagnet holds a jug (monkey) that is simultaneously released as a projectile is shot at it.

1D 60.40 - Range of Gun:

Demonstrates: Trajectory as a function of an angle.

Description: Toy dart gun mounted with a large protractor to show angle of trajectory.

1D 60.41 - Trajectory Table:

Demonstrates: Trajectory motion as a function of energy.

Description: A large square table that can be adjusted so the incline varies the trajectory of a released ball.
